| Our acts feature a variety of distinct styles and include: THE NEW WORLD CAROLERS THE NEW WORLD CAROLERS is a group of BROADWAY singers and musicians who have created a unique and exciting new take on traditional CHRISTMAS and holiday music by seamlessly blending WORLD BEATS, JAZZ HARMONIES and SIXTIES type vocal styles into a richly satisfying and original sound. The quartet features a female vocalist, nylon string acoustic guitar/vocals, acoustic bass guitar/vocals and a multi-percussionist playing an array of exotic instruments from around the world. MANNY MOREIRA and EQUATOR This is an urban, very modern sounding ensemble. Presenting a blend of American and Brazilian classic pop music in a smooth jazz setting. Acoustic instruments are tastefully supported by state of the art technology employed to produce an ambient, sonic background. With an extensive jazz background and familial Brazilian roots, Mr. Moreira's guitar and voice naturally bring the music together into a stylishly, seamless groove by adding elements of hip-hop, acid jazz and R&B. IME The International Music Ensemble plays music from around the world in elegant style. A classy setting of 6 multi-instrumentalists playing acoustically and featuring guitars, piano, accordion, chromatic harmonica, violin, bass and percussion. Vocals are by Terri Dixon and Manny Moreira who sing world famous repertoire from a multitude of cultures in a myriad of provocative rhythms and exotic melodies. Songs are presented in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. THE NEW DECO ORCHESTRA THE SAMBA SHOW This is the classiest Brazilian act in New York City. This nine piece show band includes a female vocalist, guitar/male vocalist, 3 horns, 3 percussionists, keyboard, bass and drums playing hot, original arrangements. Manny Moreira has selected classic, Brazilian repertoire known and loved throughout the world for the most exciting impact and widest appeal possible. The choreography and costumes are first rate and set with nothing less than Broadway standard production values.
